HOW TO CHANGE PORSCHE 911 996 C2 BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS



AFTER FEW HOURS OF RESEARCHING I'VE FOUND BALO ROTORS ARE MADE IN GERMANY. AND THEY ARE THE SUB COMPANY WHO PROVIDE ROTORS TO MERCEDES BENZ. SO I BOUGHT FRONT AND REAR ROTORS. ALL 4 ROTORS FOR  280.00  DOLLARS THEY HAVE GOOD DEALS GOING ON WITH BALO. OEM SPECS AND THEY MAY BE OEM FOR PORSCHE. TESTAR PADS ARE ALSO GERMANY MADE AND OEM SPECS. THEY MAY ALSO BE PORSCHE OEM PADS. FRONT PAD WAS PAGID. REAR PAD WAS TEXTAR. I WAS TOLD BY SALE REP PAGID PADS ARE 20.00 DOLLAR CHEAPER THAN TEXTAR PADS. BUT WHEN YOU OPEN THE PAGID PAD BOX TEXTAR PADS COME WITH IT. LOL SAVE 20.00. WHEN I OPENED THE PAGID BOX. AND TEXTAR PADS CAME OUT.
Removed wheels,
Remove two 15mm allen bolts,
Remove center pad spring pin.

Remove pad clip
Remove pads
Remove brake pad sensors
Remove pad and clip behind the pad from brake assembly
Reposition new pads and brake assembly clips
Reinstall  brake pad sensors

Install new rotor and security bolt

Place brake caliper and install brake pad spring braket
Reinstall 15mm allen bolts
Reinstall u r wheel.
Done!!!
